ULTRA-DYNAMICS PTY LTD ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF ironSCANTM
Following a comprehensive redesign of their MAGNASATTM technology Ultra-Dynamics Pty Ltd is pleased to announce the release of their ironSCANTM On-Conveyor Magnetic Susceptibility Meter. This system consists of a matched pair of coils which monitor the magnetic susceptibility of ferrous materials as they are conveyed along tonnage rated conveyor belts. A number of parameters can be measured including; % magnetite, kg magnetite, % magnetics etc.
ironSCANTM can be a more economical option compared to full elemental analysis technologies (eg PGNAA) if full spectral analysis is not required. As a result, this system can be applied to a wide range of applications including:
- Control of magnetite feed to HPGRs
- Control of magnetite feed to the milling circuit
- Monitoring tailings losses
- Magnetite losses at a coal washery
